There are so many reasons to have a second shooter at your wedding, the biggest one is that you will never be able to repeat your wedding again and you don’t want to miss any crucial moment. Unfortunately when having only one wedding photographer, you are always sacrificing missed moments on your big day as the fact of the matter is that no photographer can be two places at once. As a husband & wife wedding photography team we’ve noticed so many benefits of having two shooters at a wedding! Our package price accommodates for having two shooters for your most important day.
1.) We CAN be in two places at once-
We’ve been guests at weddings that have had only one photographer and when the bride was finishing getting ready, the photographer had to rush to go stand where the ceremony was held and wait there so as not to miss her walking down the aisle. However, in doing this the photographer missed the bride putting on her veil, her putting a corsage on her mother and her getting into the wedding car with her father. We love to be able to capture all these little details that make up the sum of your wedding day and refuse to miss any moments.
Another example, we love to have an aerial view of the bride walking down the aisle (when possible) so Daniel usually does that and Kirstin captures the bride walking down the aisle. If the aerial view isn’t an option, we ensure we get images of the bride walking down the aisle, the groom’s reaction to her and even behind the bride as she’s walking down the aisle to get a detailed dress shot, each of us capturing different angles throughout the ceremony. As two shooters we are able to capture all the guests reactions as well. We love to be able to capture all these little details that make up the sum of your wedding day. Each little moment is so important and we love being able to capture every second!
2.) Different Perspectives-
As two shooters we are able to capture scenes from behind and in front, from different angles and perspectives. This way we don’t miss moments and reactions. As two photographers we each have a slightly different style and feel this adds depth to our work that captures your wedding day in the best light.
3.) Groomsmen and Bridesmaid Prep-
Having two shooters on your wedding day can be crucial when groomsmen and bridesmaids are getting ready in different locations. Daniel goes with the groomsmen and Kirstin goes with the bridesmaids and by doing so we can capture all the details of getting ready without worrying about missing moments while flitting back and forth between two places. By having two shooters we don’t have to rush around frantically and know we are going to get all the important details of the day!
